Trottier

Over the course of his incredible career, Bryan Trottier set a new standard of hockey excellence. A seven-time Stanley Cup champion (four with the New York Islanders, two with the Pittsburgh Penguins, and one as an assistant coach with the Colorado Avalanche), Trottier won countless awards and is a member of the Hockey Hall of Fame and the Canadian Sports Hall of Fame. In 2017, he was named one of the NHL's Top 100 Players of All Time.
Trottier grew up in Val Marie, Saskatchewan, the son of a Cree/Chippewa/Metis father and an Irish-Canadian mother. All Roads Home offers a poignant, funny, wise, and inspiring look at his coming of age, both on and off the ice. It is a unique memoir in which Trottier shares stories about family, friends, teammates, and coaches, the lessons that he has learned from them, and the profound impact they have had in shaping the person he has become.
Saturday only, Mr. Trottier will be joining us for an opportunity to receive an autograph and to meet the man himself. Pre-signed books are also available for purchase prior to the event (autograph session is not included with pre-signed book).

72 player limit - ALL AGES WELCOME
Deck Check: 10:30am
Players entering the tournament will be subject to a deck check to ensure their deck is legal for this tournament. Failure to pass a deck check before round 1 will result in a round 1 loss.
Start time: 11:00am

Players will compete in a Standard tournament with 30-minute best-of-1 Swiss rounds; the number of rounds will depend on the number of participants in attendance.
At the end of the Swiss rounds, the top 4 placing players will be awarded a booster box (36 packs) for 1st, 18 packs for 2nd, and 9 packs for 3rd & 4th.

Gryba
Eric Gryba had a great career in professional hockey, progressing from his roots in Saskatchewan to a successful college career at Boston University. While in Boston he was part of the team that won an NCAA title in 2009. After being drafted by the Ottawa Senators in 2006, he spent some time in the American Hockey League with Binghamton, honing his skills before making his
NHL debut in 2013.
His career included time spent with the Ottawa Senators, Edmonton Oilers, and New Jersey Devils playing a valuable role as a defensemen. He earned his first NHL point in 2013 with an assist, and his physical style of play made him a dependable presence on the ice. Gryba ultimately finished his NHL career with the New Jersey Devils, rounding out a journey that spanned multiple teams and leagues over 7 years.
